1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 317(5),337 and 339 of the B.N.S. and Sections 25(1-b)a,26,35, of the Arms Act.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has antecedent of eight cases and is in custody since 05.01.2025 and the informant alleges that petitioner was apprehended along with Mushkan and from their separate possession, country-made pistol along with one live cartridge each was recovered along with other articles. Further, petitioner disclosed that a stolen motorcycle is kept in his compound. Further, the apprehended accused also disclosed that they looted Rs.6,08,000/- along with Chhotu and Rahul from Bharat Finance Limited.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case because of his antecedent. It is next submitted that though in the FIR, it is alleged that petitioner confessed that a stolen motorcycle is kept in his compound, but then, the said motorcycle was registered in the name of his mother.

5. Learned A.P.P. Sri Chandra Bhushan Prasad vehemently opposes the bail application and submits that apart from recovery of revolver and cartridges from possession of the petitioner and the petitioner also confessed about his participation in robbery committed in the office of Bharat Finance Limited. It is also submitted that petitioner has antecedent of eight cases and in the event, if privilege of regular bail is granted, the petitioner may abscond.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned A.P.P., the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

7. The prayer of the petitioner for bail stands rejected.

8. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.
