2. The present application has been filed for quashing the F.I.R. bearing Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 85 of 2024, registered for the offence under sections 420, 341, 323, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code; sections 3(1)(r)(s) of the SC/ST (POA) Act.

3. As per prosecution case, the petitioner has given some residence work to the respondent no. 6. As naked electric

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.864 of 2025(2) dt.01-05-2025 2/2 wires were passing across the said wall. Respondent no. 6 conveyed his inability to do the said work. However, he was assured by the petitioner that the electric supply would remain disconnected at the relevant time. He was accompanied by another person Kranti Mahto. In the meantime, they were suddenly pulled by the force of 11000-volt live wire. This resulted in serious burn injuries to them. They were taken to hospital by the petitioner and proper treatment was being provided by the accused at P.M.C.H.

4. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter has been settled between both the parties as the case was filed due to wrong advice.

5. Considering the submission of the parties and the matter has been compromised between both the parties, this application is allowed.

6. In view of above, the F.I.R. bearing Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 85 of 2024 is hereby quashed.
