Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 201, 342, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of Daiyan Prohibition Act.

Allegation against the petitioners is of killing Kapoorva Devi and Permila Devi calling them as Daiyan and buried their dead body beside Pathli River.

Earlier also, petitioners had moved this Court for grant of regular bail which was rejected vide Annexue 1 with liberty to the petitioners to renew their prayer for bail after completing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28209 of 2020(3) dt.18-03-2021 2/2 one year in jail custody.

Vide order dated 03.02.2021, report was called for from the court concerned as with regard to the stage of trial and time likely to be taken in concluding the trial. Report of the trial court has been received, which is kept at Flag R, in which, it has been stated that prosecution evidence has now been closed and the statement of the accused persons have been recorded under Section 313 of Cr.P.C. and it has been further stated that judgment is likely to be delivered within this month itself.

In view of the above, considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is hereby rejected.
