2. The present petition has been preferred for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.9588 of 2015(4) dt.14-07-2025 2/3 grant of following relief(s):

(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions directing and commanding the respondents to pay the compensation amount to the petitioners with statutory interest in lieu of the land acquired under L.A. Case No.04/2014-15 as per Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

(ii) For a direction upon the respondents to furnish the details of calculation of compensation amount.

(iii) For grant of any relief/reliefs the petitioners would be found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case.

3. A counter affidavit has come according to which paragraph no. 8 and 9, the none of the writ petitioners in response to the notice issued under section 12(2) of the Act either appear or receive the amount of compensation or made any objection whatsoever. It further records that the land has been handed over to the representative of the Railway

4. The counter affidavit was served in the year 2016 and there is no rebuttal.

5. In that background, Mr. Sudhir Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioner shall be individually approaching the District Land Acquisition Officer, Nalanda, Biharsharif (respondent no.4).

6. If the petitioner(s) approaches the concerned respondent, he is duty bound to take the matter to its logical conclusion at an earliest, as the matter is decade old one.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
