1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial no.78 of 2025, arising out of Bhagwan Bazar P.S. Case no.372 of 2023 registered under sections 307, 341, 323, 504, 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that the accused persons including the petitioner herein came and started to assault the informant and the members of her family. While the other accused person caught hold of the informant's father-in-law, it is stated that the petitioner and one another assaulted him with a knife leading to grievous injuries. He was taken to the Sadar Hospital from where he was referred to the P.M.C.H. for treatment.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the earlier applications for bail of the petitioner were rejected vide order dated 26.10.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no.56873 of 2024 and again on 15.2.2025 vide order passed in Cr. Misc. no.6972 of 2025 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge or after four months, whichever is later. It has been more than 4 months since passing of the said order and further charge has been framed in the learned trial Court. The petitioner is in custody since 25.11.2024 and undertakes to cooperate in the trial.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

6. A report was called for from the learned trial Court. As per the report received contained in letter dated 24.5.2025 of the District and Additional Sessions Judge-II, Saran at Chapra, charge has been framed against the petitioner in the learned trial Court on 28.2.2025 and one witness has been examined on behalf of the prosecution.

7. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioner in the F.I.R., the liberty granted to the petitioner in the earlier order of rejection dated 15.2.2025 (Annexure-P/2), charge having

No.29989 of 2025(3) dt.20-06-2025 3/3 been framed in the learned trial Court against the petitioner and the petitioner having remained in custody since 25.11.2024, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sessions Trial no.78 of 2025, arising out of Bhagwan Bazar P.S. Case no.372 of 2023, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II, Chapra, District-Saran.
