Petitioner is an accused in connection with Patori P.S. Case No. 18 of 2020 for the offence registered under Section 395 . of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the instant case. on mere suspicion. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not named in the first information report and his name has surfaced on the basis of the confessional statement of co-accused, Mantu Kumar. It is further submitted that similarly situated accused person has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 09.07.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 19174 of 2020. Petitioner is in custody since 25.01.2020.
