The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) Issuance of a direction, order or writ including writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the result dated 17/06/2021 published by the Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Service Commission (hereinafter referred to as "the Commission") pursuant to the advertisement no. 1/2019 dated 21/08/2019;

(II) Issuance of a direction, order or writ, including writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the concerned respondent authorities under the Commission to take Physical Evaluation Test of the petitioner which the petitioner could not attend due to he being detected

Patna High Court CWJC No.12461 of 2021(2) dt.24-11-2023 2/2 Corona Positive and prior representation was submitted by the petitioner for the same and as such, without affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner the final result was published;

(iii) Issuance of a direction, order or writ, including writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the concerned respondent authorities under the Commission to hold afresh the physical evaluation test of the candidates who passed the mains examination so that the petitioner and similarly situated persons can be given an opportunity to participate in the Physical Evaluation Test pursuant to which the Commission may publish the final result;" 2.

Though it is the stand of the petitioner that the petitioner could not appear in the physical evaluation test, resulting in his disqualification, on account of being ill since he was infected with Covid-19 virus, nonetheless, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to pursue his representation filed before the respondent-authorities. Liberty so sought is granted. 3.
