1. In compliance of the judgment dated 07.08.2018, passed by this Court in C.W.J.C. No.15182 of 2017, the Secretary, Bihar Staff Selection Commission, Patna, vide order dated 25.03.2024, has recommended the candidature of the petitioner for appointment on the post of Assistant SubInspector of Police and has requested the Inspector General (Headquarters), Bihar, Patna, to ensure that the petitioner is appointed as Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, after completing

2. In view of the aforesaid, this Court finds that the order of this Court, disobedience whereof has been complained of, has stood complied with, nonetheless, the Director General of Police, Government of Bihar, Patna is directed to ensure compliance of the aforesaid letter dated 25.03.2024, issued by the Secretary, Bihar Staff Selection Commission, Patna, which has been produced by the learned counsel for the respondentCommission and has been taken on record, by issuing the consequential order of appointment of the petitioner on the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, within a period of two weeks from today, with due intimation to the Registrar General of this Court, by filing an affidavit, failing which he shall not draw his salary.

3. The present petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
