The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ekangersarai P.S. Case No. 49 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner who is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the petitioner has been made accused in this case merely on the basis of confessional statement of the co-accused Shashi Paswan. Except confession, no cogent material has come against the petitioner during course of investigation. The petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 02.05.2020.
