2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Kishanganj P.S. Case no. 257 of 2026 registered under sections 111(2) and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and sections 30(a) and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

3. As per the prosecution case, on the vehicle/truck being driven by the petitioner being stopped and checked, 1684 litres of IMFL was recovered from the same.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No incriminating article has been recovered either from his possession or from his vehicle. He is a professional driver and was not aware of the goods loaded. The petitioner is in custody since 15.3.2026 and has no

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation of recovery of 1684 litres of liquor from the truck being driven by the petitioner and the petitioner having been arrested on the spot, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
