Petitioner is accused in connection with Special Case No. 496 of 2020 arising out of Araria Excise Case No. 17 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a)(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is also submitted that petitioner is in custody since 18.06.2020.
