The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 687 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B) (a) and 26 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner was apprehended with country made pistol with live cartridges and a mobile phone while the police was on checking of vehicle. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent, committed no offence and has been falsely implicated in this case. The charge-sheet has already been submitted before the Court concerned and there is no chance of absconding of the petitioner or tampering with the evidence. The petitioner has one criminal antecedent under the Excise Act in which he is on bail. He is in jail custody since

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VIII, Patna, District-Patna in connection with Jakkanpur P.S.
