The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 341/307/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act in connection with Dandari P.S. Case No. 111 of 2019.

Petitioner is in custody since 14.10.2019.

Allegation is that when son of the informant asked for money of breakfast taken by the petitioner; the petitioner fired causing injury at the back of the son of the informant. The doctor has found consistent injury on the person of the son of the informant. The petitioner has got several criminal cases against him.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to

The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months, failing which the petitioner would be at liberty to renew the prayer for bail before the trial judge itself.
