JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-10-2015 The petitioner prays for directing the respondents to provide him electric connection against Application no. 775 dated 24.12.2012. He further prays for setting aside electricity bills supplied to him without providing him connection. In paragraph 6 of the counter affidavit, respondents state that the petitioner had been provided electric connection on 27.12.2012 bearing Account no. 36037 and the same was disconnected on 31.12.2013 for non payment of dues of Rs.2071.56.

As the matter is of disputed facts, the writ petition is

Patna High Court CWJC No.23205 of 2013 (2) dt.30-10-2015 2/2 disposed of with following direction:- It will be open for the petitioner to file a representation before the appropriate authority raising his grievance that issuance of bill is bad in law as he did not get any electric connection. In case, such representation is made, the latter would dispose of the same preferably within a week, after giving personal hearing to the petitioner.

Authorities would consider providing electric connection to the petitioner in terms of conditions required for the same, within a period of two months thereof. Shashi.
