JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 12-11-2020 Heard Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Md. Harun Quraishi, learned A.C. to S.C.1 through Video Conferencing. The petitioner filed this writ petition for quashing the District Order No.2348 of 2018 as contained in Memo No.4989/Ra Ka dated 24.11.2018 issued by the Superintendent of Police, Saran and also to quash charge memo issued vide Memo No.27 /Ra Ka dated 03.01.2015.

The counter-affidavit has been filed. It is admitted fact

Patna High Court CWJC No.9534 of 2019(3) dt.12-11-2020 2/2 that after departmental proceeding, the petitioner has been dismissed and the petitioner filed appeal which is pending before the Inspector General of Police, Muzaffarpur. It is submitted that appeal is pending since last two years. Since the statutory appeal is pending, therefore, I think it proper to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Inspector General of Police, Muzaffarpur to dispose of the appeal within four months from the date of receipt of this order. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
