1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the petitioners pray for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing upon the Respondents concerned specially Respondent No.4 to accept the application of petitioners against the Advertisement of 2015 for appointment on the post of Laboratory Technician under class-III post of Health Department of Respondent State and details of Advertisement has been uploaded on website of Respondent Bihar Staff Selection
Patna High Court CWJC No.10074 of 2015(2) dt.04-10-2023 2/2 Commission giving the criteria of educational qualification of Intermediate with biology only whereas for the appointment on the same post on contractual basis advertisement was published in year 2008 also in which the educational qualification was prescribed only Intermediate with Science Stream and accordingly petitioners were participated in examination and having been finally selected got appointment on the post and till date working for about 7 years and when for regular appointment advertisement has been published then unilaterally criteria of educational qualification has been changed as a result petitioners will not be eligible to participate in selection process and ultimately their career will be bleaked."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
