====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 18-01-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Huge quantity of liquor was recovered from a truck which was being escorted by a Bolero vehicle. The people arrested from Bolero vehicle disclosed that the petitioner fled away from there. Petitioner has got identical criminal antecedent. However, petitioner is in custody since 27.02.2020. Investigation of the case against the petitioner is already complete.

Considering the nature of material against the petitioner in this case as well as period already undergone by the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29557 of 2020(3) dt.18-01-2021 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Mahua Police Station Case No. 216 of 2019, subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (b) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
