23-02-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

It appears from the order passed by the Block Development Officer, Bhagwanpur Hat that the petitioner's representation has been rejected on 27.07.2015 on the ground that the petitioner had failed to produce the necessary proof for indicating that the rice in question had been distributed by him.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner seriously disputes the same and submits that he will file reply to that effect indicating proof of the fact that he had produced the records of distribution before the concerned functionary on the date on which he had been called upon to appear before the then Block Development Officer, Bhagwanpur Hat in response to the notice dated 02.07.2012. Annexure-B to the show cause indicates that after the letter dated 02.07.2012 another letter dated 22.07.2015 was also given to the petitioner vide letter no. 829 but the petitioner had failed to produce necessary documents. As such, vide order dated 27.07.2015 (Annexure-B) the petitioner's representation was rejected. Be that as it may, this court is not inclined to

proceed further in the matter. The contempt application stands disposed of.
