Two supplementary show cause affidavits have been filed on behalf of opposite party Nos. 3 and 5 respectively with a categorical averment inter alia that in compliance with the order of this Court, the petitioner has been accorded promotion (with financial benefit) with effect from 29.06.2016 in the cadre of Subordinate Education Service (Primary Education), by the

Patna High Court MJC No.1525 of 2025(4) dt.19-09-2025 2/2 order contained in Memo. No. 916 dated 16.09.2025. Copy of the letter has been marked as Annexure-A to the supplementary show cause affidavit filed on behalf of O.P. No.3.

3. Learned advocate for the petitioner submitted that though pursuant to the order aforenoted, the petitioner has been promoted with retrospective effect, but till date she has not been accorded the financial benefit and, moreover, the petitioner is going to retire in the month of January, 2026 and, as such, the petitioner has apprehension that she might be deprived from the financial benefits.

4. The apprehension of the petitioner appears to be unfounded. It is expected that all the financial benefits must be accorded to the petitioner within a reasonable period of eight weeks. In case the same is not paid, the petitioner shall be at liberty to file one page affidavit showing non-compliance of the order. In case such application is filed, the erring officer shall be dealt with sternly.

5. This contempt application is closed with the liberty aforesaid.
