By order dated 18.11.2014, the matter was directed to be listed after disposal of C.W.J.C. No. 19555 of 2011. The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to modify the pension rules so that the petitioner also gets the benefit of full pension though not having completed 33 years of service on the ground that persons who have superannuated on or after 01.04.2007 have been granted such benefit.

Upon going through the said judgment, this Court is in agreement with the view taken by the co-ordinate Bench and accordingly, the present writ petition also stands dismissed by a reasoned order.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the order dated 29.04.2015 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 19555 of 2011, the petitioner has filed L.P.A. No. 1586 of 2015 which is pending.

Be that as it may, it goes without saying that the petitioner may take appropriate action in the light of the decision by the Appellate Court.
