2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "That the present writ application is being filed on behalf of the petitioner above named for setting aside the order contained in Memo No.

1686 dated 12.12.2022 by which the PDS license of the petitioner being license No. 60/17 has been cancelled by the learned SDO Belsand-cumLicensing Authority and further be pleased to restore the licence and supply of the petitioner."

3. Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, having regard to the fact that the petitioner has an

Patna High Court CWJC No.7317 of 2023(2) dt.14-09-2023 2/2 alternative and effective remedy of filing an appeal before the District Magistrate. This Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition, the present writ petition is disposed off granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the District Magistrate for ventilating his grievance within a period of four weeks from today. On such appeal being filed, the authority concerned shall pass necessary orders strictly in accordance with law.

2. It is needless to mention that before passing any orders the petitioner shall be put on notice and given an opportunity of hearing. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferable within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt of the appeal. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

3. With the above observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
