The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order or orders in the nature of mandamus for directing and commanding the respondents to grant 3rd Assured Career Promotion Scheme (M.A.C.P.S.) with effect from 01.01.09 in pursuance to the communication issued by the Joint secretary, Government of Bihar, Department of Finance to the all concerned District Magistrate in Grade

Patna High Court CWJC No.11019 of 2015(2) dt.24-08-2023 2/2 Pay P.B-2+5400 Grade pay in response to the government decision dated 14.07.10 to the petitioner forthwith and further for a direction upon the respondents to pay the petitioner arrear of salary and other consequential financial benefits after such grant with effect from 01.01.09 and also to pay arrear of revised pension, gratuity, leave encashment and as much as all retiral benefits alongwith 18% compound interest and cost forthwith to the petitioner and further for any other appropriate relief or reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled in the facts and circumstances of this case."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
