1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i. For cancellation/setting aside the appointment of two private respondents who are own brother and have been appointed on the post of Amin and Stenographer in the Zila Parishad, Patna without there being advertisement / selection process and have been appointed only because they are sons of Sri Diwakar Thakur, MAHAMANTRI of Zila Parishad Karamchari Mahasangh, Patna. The Zila

ii. The petitioner further prays that after cancelling the appointment of aforementioned two private respondent the Zila Parishad Patna be directed to issue an advertisement for the aforementioned two post and carry out a selection process accordance with law so that petitioner and others may participate."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands dismissed.
