The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing the adjudication/ order dated 22.08.2019, passed by the Press Council of India, New Delhi, whereby the complaint filed by the petitioner has been rejected."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not seek to press the present writ petition, however, submits that the impugned order dated 22.08.2019, passed by

Patna High Court CWJC No.8150 of 2022(2) dt.31-07-2023 2/2 the Press Council of India would show that the Resident Editor, Prabhat Khabar, Gaya, in his written statement, has assured that he could consider publishing the version of the complainant positively, as such, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Resident Editor, Prabhat Khabar, Gaya.
