2. The present application has been filed seeking modification of the order dated 07.07.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 66182 of 2019, whereby the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected. The petitioner seeks modification/correction of the said order to the limited extent of correcting his address.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, due to an inadvertent typographical error in the anticipatory bail application, the petitioner's address was mentioned as Village Surajpur, P.S. Ujiarpur, District Samastipur, whereas the correct address is Village Balahi Samastipur, P.S. Warisnagar, District

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3600 of 2021(2) dt.27-07-2026 2/2 Samastipur. It is further submitted that the error is confined only to the description of the petitioner's address and no substantive modification of the order is sought.

4. Having considered the submissions and upon perusal of the records, this Court is of the view that no order is required to be passed in the present matter. The order sought to be modified is dated 07.07.2020, whereby the petitioner's prayer for anticipatory bail was rejected and more than six years have elapsed since the passing of the said order. Moreover, the petitioner could have surrendered before the learned court below/concerned court and sought regular bail in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the present modification application is dismissed.
