The petitioner seeks bail in Muffasil P.S. Case No. 142 of 2020, registered for the offence under Section 366, 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner kidnapped the grand daughter of informant. The aforesaid fact has also been supported by the victim girl in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C.

Considering the nature of allegation and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and same is, accordingly, rejected.
