The petitioner, who is in custody since 17.06.2020, seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 101 of 2015 vide Excise Trial No. 154/2018 instituted for the offence under Section 47(A) of the Bihar Excise Act.

It appears that 25 litres of liquor has been recovered from the possession of three persons including the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has wrongly been made accused in this case. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedents. Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail
