Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Vigilance.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No.45 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the petitioner has got appointment by producing forged experience certificate.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39471 of 2021(8) dt.29-08-2022 2/2 present case. It is further submitted that the department has not taken any step against the petitioner till date. It is also submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application.

Learned counsel for the Vigilance Department opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail application and submitted that the petitioner has produced a forged and fabricated experience certificate and got appointment. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
