1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The instant application has been filed praying for modification of the order dated 28.3.2025 passed in Cr.Misc. no.14382 of 2025 whereby while granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Purnea Sadar P.S.Case no. 13 of 2022, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the learned Court below within a period of four weeks.

3. Referring to the contents of the petition as also the documents/ hospital prescriptions/ discharge summary etc. brought on record as annexure to the supplementary affidavit learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not surrender within the time granted in the aforesaid

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29739 of 2025(4) dt.18-07-2025 2/2 order dated 28.3.2025 for reasons beyond his control. As such a prayer is made that the time for the petitioner to surrender in the learned Court below be extended by further period of four weeks and the order dated 28.3.2025 granting bail to the petitioner be modified accordingly.

4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the contents of the petition as also the supplementary affidavit, the documents attached to both the affidavits and the submissions made, the Court is satisfied that the petitioner has made out a case for modification of the order dated 28.3.2025.

5. The order dated 28.3.2025 passed in Cr.Misc. no.14382 of 2025 is modified and the time granted therein to the petitioner to surrender in the Court below is extended by a further period of four weeks from today.

6. The remaining part of the order dated 28.3.2025 stands unchanged.

7. The application stands allowed to the above extent. (Partha Sarthy, J) Bibhash U T
