The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 447, 341, 323, 324, 325, 307, 337, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is that on 09.10.2018 at about 6 AM accused persons, named in the F.I.R. armed with various weapon, came and started abusing the informant Md. Shabbir. Md. Manjur (petitioner) attacked with sword on the head of informant with intention to kill him. Informant sustained head injury and he becoming unconscious and fell down in the ground. Other accused persons were assaulted with lathi-danda to the informant. The injury has been shown to be grievous in

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent, bears no criminal antecedent and has been falsely implicated in the present case due to village politics. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his payer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Baisi P.S. Case No. 250 of 2018 from the court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnia. Accordingly, the application is dismissed.
