In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Digha P.S. Case No.68 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 448 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation has been made against the petitioner and others that they have resorted firing in order to kill the son of the informant.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43342 of 2018(2) dt.20-07-2018 2/2 Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
