Earlier the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 11.12.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 54896 of 2019 and its analogous case.

A report was called for from the Court of Additional Session Judge-18, Patna, regarding stage of Sessions Trial No. 348 of 2019 which is kept at flag 'A' to the petition. From perusal of the report dated 18.12.2020, it appears that the trial is at the stage of prosecution evidence and out of eleven prosecution witnesses, eight have been examined. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the stage of trial, I am not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner,

However, taking into consideration the period of custody i.e., 26.11.2018, trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
