JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 25-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Kishan Salahkar in Supaul District as per merit/selection list which was published by the District Agriculture Office, Supaul, under signature of Agriculture officer, Supaul (Annexue-2) (ii) For that petitioner selected on the basis of his merit (60.33% marks in Intermediate Science) and his name is figured in Merit

Patna High Court CWJC No.11663 of 2015(2) dt.25-08-2023 2/2 /Selection list on Serial No. 148. He belongs to category of Backward class also. (Annexure-1) (iii) For that Chandan Kumar Respondent No.- 5 appointed/selected vide Gyapank 694 dated 8.7.2014 category of Backward Class figured on serial No. 201 in Merit/ selection list has less merit (57.77% marks in Intermediate Science) than this petitioner (60.33% marks in Intermediate Science) he also belongs to Backward Class. (Annexure-2)"

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that probably with the efflux of time, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, hence the same be disposed off.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
