The petitioner seeks bail in Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No. 54/2019 (NDPS Case No. 11/2019), instituted for offence under Section(s) 414, 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 30(a)(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 and Sections 18, 19, 20, 21 of NDPS Act. It is alleged in the written report that on getting secret information the police intercepted one Maruti 800 Car and arrested four persons. From the aforesaid vehicle 50 litres of Mahua liquor and 2kg of Ganja were recovered. Thereafter police raided the house of co-accused Gauri Shankar Singh and recovered 50 litres of Mahua liquor from his house. The police made search in the house of this petitioner and recovered total

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29847 of 2019(2) dt.08-05-2019 2/2 80 kg of Mahua flower loaded on a tempo, parked behind the house of this petitioner.

Petitioner is in custody since 17.02.2019 having clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judgecum-Special Judge (N.D.P.S. Act), Gaya, in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No. 54/2019 (NDPS Case No. 11/2019), subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
