No one appears on behalf of the State although name of the Advocate General appears in the cause list. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kesariya P.S. Case No.470 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 498(A), 304(B), 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased. The petitioner is in custody since 06.01.2020. Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 06.01.2020, the court below is directed to conclude the trial on day-to-day basis and conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29347 of 2020(3) dt.06-01-2021 2/2 this order. If the trial is not concluded within the stipulated period, the court below is directed to release the petitioner on bail on appropriate terms and conditions. The court below is under obligation to furnish reasons for not concluding the trial as per the observation made hereinabove by this Court before Registrar (Vigilance) of this Court on administrative sides.
