In the present writ application, the grievance of the petitioner is non-payment of death-cum-retiral benefits i.e. in the nature of Gratuity, Earned Leave, Group Insurance, G.P.F. and arrears of provisional pension to the petitioner. The claim of the petitioner is that she is the daughter of late employee and she was appointed as Chowkidar on compassionate ground.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been paid provisional pension, provisional gratuity, but final payment has not been made.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8931 of 2019(3) dt.15-06-2020 2/2 Considering the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondents to expedite the finalization of the final pension, gratuity and other death-cum-retiral dues to the petitioner in accordance with law preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which petitioner shall be entitled to payment of 9% per annum interest from the date of filing of the writ application i.e. from 22.04.2019 till the date of actual payment.
