3. On 12.12.2023, the learned Counsel for the petitioner appeared and wanted time to file reply to the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the L.N. Mithila Univeristy.
4. On 12.12.2023, the following order was passed:- "1. Learned counsel for the L.N. Mithila University submits that a counter affidavit on behalf of the University has been filed. A copy of the same has been served on learned counsel for
Patna High Court CWJC No.13876 of 2014(9) dt.03-01-2024 2/2 the petitioner in Court today.
2. Office to place the counter affidavit of the University on record.
3. As prayed on behalf of the petitioner, to enable the petitioner to go through the counter affidavit and to file a reply, if so required, put up after one week."
5. Today, on call neither the learned Counsel for the petitioner has appeared nor there is any reply to the counter affidavit on record. It seems that the petitioner has lost interest in the case.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
