2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 66/ 2026 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Sections 303(2), 317(2), 338, 336(3) and 111 of the BNS.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated merely on account of his friendship with co-accused, Rohit Kumar and no incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he neither manipulated the registration number nor participated in the alleged theft. It is further submitted that the motorcycle allegedly recovered from the petitioner belonged to co-accused, Rohit Kumar and the petitioner had merely taken the same for going to the market

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32033 of 2026(2) dt.12-05-2026 2/2 and no independent witness supports the prosecution case. The petitioner is in custody since 21.02.2026 and though having one antecedent, the same is not of similar nature and he undertakes to cooperate in the trial.

4. The learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioner.

5. In the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the aforesaid submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel as well as averments made in this petition coupled with the petitioner's young age and his custody period, this court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 66/ 2026 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
