In this case, petitioners are claiming regularisationcum-fresh engagement as contract employee in a new project. As has been stated by the counsel for the State, it is third round of litigation which the petitioners conceded. The
Patna High Court CWJC No.25038 of 2013 (3) dt.25-02-2016 3/3 petitioners were engaged on contract under a project, after its completion, their services automatically came to an end. Petitioners cannot claim their regularisation in service, their engagement cannot be extended beyond the life of the project. Only grievance has been raised by the petitioners that certain persons, who were working in the project, have been accommodated in other project which cannot be basis for continuance in service.
However, the counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have filed a representation (Annexure 12) before the Collector, Saharsa who will examine the case of the petitioner and take a necessary decision in accordance with law. With the above observation/direction, this petition is disposed of.
