1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ's, direction's, order's in nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to remove encroachment/road over the petitioner's personnel land, which is in violation of law prevailing on the land and it furtherance the respondents be directed to hand over the vacant possession over his land, after removal of encroachment/road."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative
