This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Barharia P.S. Case No. 55 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 41(i) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act 2016.

Petitioner's prayer for regular bail was earlier rejected by an order dated 14.12.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 33137 of 2020 with an observation that the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this Court renewing his prayer for bail after six months. Accordingly, this application has been filed renewing the prayer for bail.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has remained in custody since 18.06.2020 and there is absolutely no progress in the Court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40165 of 2021(2) dt.11-08-2021 2/2 below inasmuch as after cognizance of the case nothing has been done.

Considering the above submission, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge 2nd, Siwan, in Barharia P.S. Case No. 55 of 2020.
