2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 234 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per the prosecution case, deceased was suspected to be a thief who was brutally assaulted by general public including the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Learned counsel further submits that petitioner is a man with a clean antecedent and he is in custody since 20.11.2025. Lastly, similarly situated co-accused namely, Amod Paswan has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 16.03.2026 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 17438 of 2026.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-1, Udakishunganj, Madhepura/ concerned Court in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 234 of 2025.

8. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Puraini Police Station, District- Madhepura on the first and third Sunday of every month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.

9. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not express any opinion on the merits of the case.
