The petitioner seeks bail in Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 18/2019, instituted for offences under Section(s) 341, 323, 354(b), 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged in the written report that on the date of occurrence the petitioner came at the door of informant in drunken stage and misbehaved with her. It is alleged that petitioner by catching hold the hair of informant thrashed her and assaulted her. He also torn the blouse of informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that from the written report itself it appears that the occurrence has taken place while the petitioner was in drunken stage. There was

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Gopalpur P.S.
