The petitioner is in custody in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 496 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 20/22/24 of the NDPS Act.

In the instant case total 30 Kg. Ganja was seized from incomplete house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is 68 years old having no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 19.12.2018.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is 68 years old, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30282 of 2019(4) dt.17-08-2019 2/2 West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 496 of 2018 subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit Rs.50,000/- (Fifty thousand) cash in the court below and the same shall be abide by the final outcome in the trial.
