Petitioner seeks bail in Phulwarishariff P.S. Case No.720 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 364A Indian Penal Code. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been made accused merely on suspicion as he had made calls on mobile phone of Pankaj, who is son of the informant. The informant has alleged that son of the informant had gone to the house of Fufa. One call came on the mobile phone of son of the informant, who told that he is friend of Mukesh and disclosed his name as Chandan (petitioner). It is further alleged that thereafter ransom call was made on the mobile phone of son of the informant.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27767 of 2019(2) dt.30-04-2019 2/2 Counsel for the petitioner submits that son of the informant was, ultimately, recovered from the house of Mukesh Kumar. No ransom money was paid to anybody.

Counsel for the petitioner further submits that coaccused, Mukesh Kumar, has already been granted regular bail by co-ordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 10.04.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No.23099 of 2019.

Petitioner is in custody since 14.09.2018.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, XV, Patna, in connection with Phulwarishariff P.S. Case No.720 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner. (Sanjay Priya, J) J. Alam/- U T
