2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 159 of 2003 registered for the offence under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of committing theft.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 21.12.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29913 of 2025(3) dt.02-09-2025 2/2 as well as the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand)with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Sherghati, Gaya/concerned Court below in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 159 of 2003 subject to condition that:- (i). The petitioner will mark his attendance at the Rajapakar (Baranti O.P.) Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
