Grievance of the petitioner is that despite an application made for grant of arms licence for the safety and protection of life and property, final decision has not been taken by the licensing authority as yet.

Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate - cum - licensing authority, Aurangabad to take a decision in the matter of the petitioner on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of two months
