Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8/12 of POCSO Act.

Earlier also, petitioner had moved this Court for grant of regular bail which was rejected vide Annexue 1. Allegation against petitioner (maternal uncle) is of committing rape on informant and forcing her for prostitution to earn money.

Vide order dated 22.06.2022, passed in Cr. Misc. No.31417 of 2022, a report was called for with regard to stage of the trial.

Report dated 30.06.2022 of the court below has come which is kept at Flage R, in which, it has been stated that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31417 of 2022(3) dt.20-07-2022 2/2 case is pending for argument of defence and trial is likely to be concluded within two months.

In view of above, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, as the trial is at its fag end. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. However, the court below is directed to conclude the trial within one month, if not already been concluded. (S. Kumar, J) Sanjay/- U T
