JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 26-04-2016 Despite the matter remaining pending since last 7 years, there is no counter affidavit by the Municipal Corporation. The limited relief prayed in this writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the Vigilance Case No. 6A of 2010. Six years having been passed, the counsel for the Corporation is not in a position to even inform this Court as to the status of the vigilance case. The matter was taken up on 18.4.2016 and adjourned for the purpose, yet no result.
In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation to consider and dispose of the Vigilance Case No. 6A
Patna High Court CWJC No.21642 of 2013 (3) dt.26-04-2016 2/2 of 2010 if not already disposed of, in accordance with law and after giving opportunity of hearing to the private respondent and since the matter is more than six years old, an expeditious disposal within six months would be appreciated.
The writ petition is disposed of.
