The petitioner has filed an application for grant of P.D.S. license on compassionate ground under Clause 2.5 of P.D.S. Control Orders, 2001, in place of her father-in-law, namely, Rajnandan Singh, who died on 21.03.2014.

The petitioner submits that she satisfies the conditions mentioned under clause 2.5 of 2001 Control Orders for grant of license.

I find that the application of the petitioner is pending consideration before the licensing authority. This writ application is disposed of with a direction to the licensing authority to take appropriate steps in the matter
